An AB filter will potentially have issues once I put the water tank back in for winter use (dry in house).
To try and solve that, I've wondered about utilizing a water filter type housing (2.75x10" filters) with 5um carbon-block type filters.
The housings are designed for pressure, the filter surface would be large (long life), and obviously it would be acceptable to have humidity from the tank heater in it (although I dont know how much humidity will drop out).
Filter of choice so far would be a Pentek NCP-10 (non cellulose pleated carbon impregnated).
What could be affected by the large vol cylinder in-line ? Would there be a large delay in the sent pressure 'wave' from the machine's air pump ? Could the machine interpretation of daily results be rendered completely useless as datasets ?
