not happened to me yet, but when it does.......
i will probably try self-amalgamating tape.
i have used for years at work and it's a soft tape that i think would bond easily to a tube.
the tap is stretched as you wind it on and quickly amalgamates into one whole waterproof piece.
we usually wrap electrical tape on afterwards, but that is when we use it in cable pits.

I have carelessly left them unattended hanging on a door hook, however I think I have noted them becoming intertwined and occasionally one falls exhausted to the floor.
RE: Dreamstation heated hose temp repair fix
I had the same thing happen to me in the middle of the night. I woke up with the machine blasting air at me and a hole in the hose near the connection to the mask. I tried a couple types of tape, but they leaked after an hour or so. I then used electrician's tape, using it generously in three layers. The leak was fixed and has been working for 2 nights so far. New hose is on it's way to me from Amazon. Hope this helps.
