Best sleep doctor in Austin, TX area?

Best sleep doctor in Austin, TX area?
I've been to 2 good ones with no improvement.  Skin allergy test negative.  Nasal surgery to open up airway, no improvement.  Blood work from doctor, negative.  Sleep studies of 5.5 and 8.3 AHI mixed.  Bought by own Bilevel got AHI down to 1-3 a night but no improvement in how I felt or slept.  Fatigue has slowly gotten worse over the past 5+ years.  When my fatigue first started I got an in lab sleep study and the AHI was 0 so I don't think it's an apnea issue.  I'm cutting out caffeine, which is very hard when I have chronic fatigue.  Caffeine usage has been low though for a long time, less than 100-150 mg a day and before lunch.  Less than 50mg the past couple weeks.  Diet is pretty clean, trying to do all carnivore.  Was eating low carb / paleo.  Just don't think I'll make it much longer.

Your sleep is disrupted, but you've concluded it is not apnea, so a sleep doctor is unlikely to help. Just saying, these guys are one-trick ponies and is it isn't OSA they won't do much good for you. You obviously need a more comprehensive review of your health, hormone levels, and other issues that can help with your disturbed sleep. Holistic medicine or internal medicine both take a broader view of your health, and might be a better choice. It seems logical to see a sleep doctor if you're tired, but since fatigue can come from so many sources like hormone deficiency, Lyme's disease, chemical imbalances, etc, it is probably better to take a broader view using a professional that is willing to investigate a spectrum of possibilities. At this point you have probably eliminated conventional sleep disordered breathing as the likely cause. Move on to something else.
