Easier way to import O2 data?

I am using a Wellue O2 ring and importing datat to Oscar daily. The Viatom folder is getting rather full and I have to scroll a lot to get to prior nights data file to import. Is there another way/shortcut to make this faster?

You could create a subdirectory and store all files imported into OSCAR in it.  You could further organize this subdirectory with subdirectories named by the month.

This is what I will be doing. Probably by month. Easier to read dates that way.

The ring uploads the prior nights data automatically to a folder on my desktop. Then there's a subfolder in THAT folder that I have to open. Then I have to scroll past months of daily entries to get to last night. Thats what I want to shortcut.

You can create shortcut links to any directory on all platforms. Depending on which OS you're using, determine the steps to perform this.

I've been able to get Oscar to sort the files by date and I think I only had to sort it once and it stuck, combined with the link strategy to get to the right folder easily, I can find the new ones easily. I tend to select 5 or so in case I forgot to import the previous day, that way I don't have to be specific, just grab the top set.

I dump old files in to an "Old" directory occasionally, which helps with directory load time on my (slowish) laptop. Then, as TechieHippie suggests, set the OSCAR file browser to reverse sort by date so the new files/folders are at the top. No scrolling required.
