SD Card free space available
I purchased a new SD card for my Respironics REMstar 60 series.
No need for new card other than I have reason to ensure the preservation of earlier records, which were of some 83 days of general non-compliance...so not much data.
The following shows the SD card information as seen by the REMstar and the iMac.
The Sleepyhead precaution on locking the card before using it in the iMac was always observed and I always check the REMstar menu on re-inserting to make sure that it is unlocked.
Both cards are recognised by the CPAP machine and both accept and display session records on Sleepyhead
This is the puzzle:
Original 4 Gb SD card REMstar Menu Free space 97% Unlocked
83 session days recorded
iMac Getinfo MS-DOS (FAT32) 4 Gb 3.98 avbl.
New 16 Gb SD Card REMstar menu Free space 17% Unlocked
iMac Getinfo MS-DOS (FAT32) 15.5 Gb 15.52 avbl.
1 session day recorded
Has anybody had a similar experience and/or can explain why Respironics thinks only 17% free space left on the new card after only 1 session recorded?
