RE: Contec RS01 "apnea" monitor
I got a RS01 myself and it is extremely good value for the money as it costs 100 USD on Ebay right now. The nasal flow graph at 0 pressure is valuable as it provides inspiratory flow shape in addition to auto scoring apneas and hypopneas. SP02, pulse and pleth data are great as well. Unfortunately, I do not see any way to import in OSCAR or SPO2 assistant. The analysis software for scoring it uses is called Resmon and imports bin files from the device. Importing the flow graph as well as SPO2 and heart rate in OSCAR would be very valuable as it will allow matching with sleep stage data from Dreem 2. It is a great and cheap device for basic screening at home for apnea.

I've just picked one of these up for like $90 too but it's being shipped at the moment - I intend to use the data in OSCAR and have written various scripts to convert between Viatom and Contec file formats in the past, I'll try and pick apart the data format and put a script together for this one.

While you're writing code, maybe get with the OSCAR developers here in this forum and find a way for OSCAR to recognize the CMS50F oximeter. As of now, it is not detected when using the Oximetry Wizard. It seems the newer versions of the oximeter have changed something and it's not detected.
My get-up-and-go musta got up and went.
Download OSCAR for your sleep data. https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR

Please keep us posted as RS01 provides very good data and it is shame that it cannot be imported in OSCAR. Did you receive your RS01 already. I can send you some raw data for you to play with.

Oscar has never recognised any oximiter via direct connection for me - you can instead though import the spo2 files (that the contec spo2 assistant uses) from the filesystem and this works fine.

Not yet, but will wait until I have it before playing around. Will keep you posted

Unfortunately, I do not think RS01 works with SP02 assistant. There is no bluetooth and the usb connection is the same port as oximetry acquisition usbc, so you cannot both record SPO2 and transmit to PC.

Rs01 doesn't, no - which is why a conversion script will be needed. Cms50f does.

Did you receive and get to play around with your RS01?
