I'm new to the board, but a long time CPAP patient. I stayed with my old REMstar Auto, for to long, and while shopping for a new machine, I found The Apnea Board, and SleepyHead! So five days into the new setup, and forum etc. I've dropped my AH/I from over 1, to today's new low of .41. This is my first post, so I'm not posting any screen grabs yet. I'm blown away, by the amount of information available here, and the support I see, from everyone, specially the mods, and advisors. I'm hoping, with your help, I may someday reach the elusive "0"! Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the Forum Hockenberry!
Glad you decided to join. Your AHI is excellent, and yes, there is a lot of information here. Visit the Wiki if you have time, and look over the Beginners Guide to SleepyHead. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...SleepyHead And your right, that AHI of 0 is a bit elusive, but is a good feeling if you get one.

RE: New Guy!
Welcome to the group..
The Dreamstation is an excellent machine, I'm very happy with mine. Don't be surprised or disappointed when you have the odd high AHI spike, it happens to everyone from time to time. I recently scored 0.0 AHI, but I've also peaked at almost 3.0 once or twice.. my 6 month average to date is 1.4 .. I'm very happy with that, and it is well within my average statistics compliance required to maintain my professional driver status on my licence.
