Sleepster, why won't your son's health insurance pay for the prescribed machine? I don't believe I've ever heard of an health insurer refusing to pay for a prescribed item. What's the point of having health insurance if they don't cover what's ailing you? Annoyed-and-disappointed

I don't know the details. He told me he was tired of dealing with them so he decided to pay out of pocket.
