[Equipment] O2 ring - multiple sessions during the night

I just started using a Wellue O2 Ring and most of the time it divides the night into multiple sessions, which imports into Oscar just fine, but some nights it is just one session which I believe it should be. The position of the ring is on my left thumb below the knuckle (it is snug), and I have tried it on my index finger, also with the same results. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm just trying to figure out if the ring is defective.

After reading everything that I could find on the O2 Ring I believe that this one has a problem - so back to Amazon it goes for a replacement....
