F&P SleepStyle - Clear Airway/CentralApnea
Hello,
As noted, I have a F&P Sleepstyle and have noted the graphs show Apneas & Hypopneas as well as a couple other machine indicators.
From what I gathered, some indicators are are flagged by the machine, some determined by OSCAR parameters, and others analyzed or calculated.
The focus of this question is the Apnea "event flag". OSCAR does not show any differentiation between Clear-Airway/Central-Apnea and Obstructive Apneas. For additional views, especially about the F&P SleepStyle where there is less information about this machine and reports than more popular machines, I also uploaded my data to the SleepHQ site. I was surprised when I saw CA events flagged differently than OA events.
I do not know whether CA is a machine flag, or an analytical contrivance. My question is whether there is something to be set in the OSCAR preferences to enable this breakout.
Many thanks

The separation of OAs and CAs is now in the latest version of OSCAR, which in now in Beta testing. The reason Sleep HQ has it because they downloaded the OSCAR code and put it out to the public before it was fully validated. Anyone can download the latest OSCAR code and build it themselves. If you are interested, you will find the links in the OSCAR download page. The link is at the top of every page.

Ah, I see. Let me thank the developers HERE for THEIR WORK in constantly improving OSCAR.
Thank you Crimson Nape for your very prompt response!
I'll not comment beyond that...
RE: F&P SleepStyle - Clear Airway/CentralApnea
Hi,
I am new here. I am having the same problem. I have version 1.40 and there is not any CA vs OA differentiation. Is there another version?
Thanks

Beach Junky,
You must have missed this post.
In the next version of
OSCAR (now in beta testing), you will see the separation of OAs and CAs.

Per note above, it's in the new version, now in beta testing. Source code is available for you to build your own.
If you don't have those programming skills to turn it into an executable, then you'll have to wait. I did not see an ETA.

Hi,
Thanks for that. No, I don't have coding skills so I'll have to wait.
