RE: F&P Simplus Full Face Mask
Thanks, now I understand better.
I believe you can overcome any strap issue with Velcro. It may mean cutting the strap and sewing in an extension (Velcro for flexibility).
I would definitely try masks, under pressure by hand holding them on your face ignoring straps in your case. Any mask should fit comfortably and without leaks.
General mask fitting should be from least intrusive (Pillows) they should fit ON the nose, not IN the nose, to nasal masks, and finally the Full Face Mask. CPAP therapy frequently, not always, will splint the mouth passage shut to stop mouth breathing. I am a mouth breather and I comfortably use P10 pillows.
Think about the Amara View mask, it has no brow frame and seals at the bottom of the nose. It MAY (or may not) be an option for you.
I suspect that any mask that you use will require strap modifications so don't let that stop you.
Please let us know how things work for you.
