resmed forced oscillation method
Hello all
I can see ResMed 4Hz in pressure signal when apnea suspected. CAs do indeed show 4 hz signal in flow (open airway). This I expected. What was not expected is events classified as OA (closed airway) when the flow signal also shows 4 Hz signal. I expected absence. So I thought might be amplitude difference but does not appear to be so. I can only concluded that something beside transmission of 4 Hz pressure pressure vibrations to flow is used to define OAs. What am I missing here?
thanks RB
