FORCE MyAir Data Upload

FORCE MyAir Data Upload
This is the third time that MyAir has failed to show my results. After verifying that the data existed using the front panel of my ResMed AirSense autoset and Sleepyhead software, I checked to see the unit was still powered on (yes) and that airplane mode was off (yes).

Since my data uploads occur within 2 hrs of the end of my sleep session, they should have been uploaded.

I apparently was able to force an upload by power-cycling my unit off (for at least one minute) and then turning it on. The data became available in MyAir within 20 minutes.

Happenstance or coincidence? I will settle for the fact that power cycling seemed to reset the machine and trigger the upload over the cellular network.

RE: FORCE MyAir Data Upload
When I first got my machine, they explained about the data transmission, and I explained I am in a dead zone for cell phone. When I observed the signal, it was very weak if not absent. I have never failed to get my data timely, but I am sure other locations in my house would not be so lucky.

I suspect this at least pussible.
CPAP is a journey like “The Wizard of Oz”. It’s a long slow journey. You will face many problems and pick up many friends along the way. Just because you reach the poppies, it doesn’t mean you are in Kansas.

RE: FORCE MyAir Data Upload
My MyAir data is usually available 1-1.5 hours after I quit using the machine. Part of this is the time for the machine to realize I'm done and do the upload, and part is time for ResMed to process the data and make it available to me.
One day recently I accidentally unplugged the machine while unhooking the hose 30 minutes after I quit, it was still 1-1.5 hours after I plugged it back in before the data was available, no power out forced reset there.
OTOH on May 6th it was most of the day before my data was available. ResMed appeared to have a server problem as I could not even log on until after 3pm Eastern time.

RE: FORCE MyAir Data Upload
I've noticed that MyAir has gone down several time since I've been checking it (since late 2014). Stuff happens. They've always come back up with my data intact.
