Lets be honest here @Crimson Nape, any measurement outside of the machine is already not accurate, it is a result of the same reason you mention for VCOM being inaccurate. The hose and mask are outside of the sensor loop and if you look at something simple like leak rates for masks, they are all over the place and cannot be compensated for with a simple 3 choice mask setting in any modern APAP machine.
