Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset

Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
I just changed from A Dreamstation 2 to Airsense 11 Autoset. I thought I would have to start over with my Flashair card. I popped it in my A11 expecting it to reformat the card. and it was just accepted as is. I looked at the card in my computer, and as far as I know, all looked good. See attached for file structure of downloaded data. All subdirectories are empty, but P1, and LAST.TEXT points to 74FAE104.

I created a new profile in Oscar. Used the machine for the first time last night. This morning, I ran FlashPAP. It had some trouble finding the card, but without making any changes connected. FlashPAP listed all files as new. I just selected last night and it seemed to copy. I switched to my new profile in Oscar and imported the data. Nothing shows up. I remember reading that you need a couple days of data initially. Would that apply in this case of switching machines, or do I have a problem?

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
First, you should have erased all the data on the FlashAir.

Something you didn't mention; Did you change the machine type declaration in FlashPAP?  You need to change the following line in your FlashPAP user file (*.fpap) to, "CPAPModel=100".  That was the declaration for the AS10 series.  Since the AS11 was released after the creation of FlashPAP, you may still experience problems.  The AS11 uses a different file extension than the prior models that FlashPAP may not recognize.

Good luck!

Red,

I did not erase all data on the Flashair card. I changed CPAPModel=100 and get the attached message when copy data is selected. The copy continues, but the message persists. I put the card (attached) in my computer and was able to download the data. Am I SOL as far as the Flashair goes or is there hope?

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
If the IP, 192.168.1.220, is your FlashAir address, then you should be able to view it in your web browser.  You can also ping the address to see if it will respond. The P-Series directory is for the Philips.  Delete it.  The FlashAir only announces itself to the network at boot-up.  This means that if your network access point was initialized after the FlashAir, it will not be seen.   You need to bring up the FlashAir as the last device powered up.  Additionally, If you edited the FlashAir's SD_WLAN/CONFIG file, you will need to replace the asterisks ("*") with the actual password for your Wi-Fi.  Otherwise, it will try to use the asterisks as the actual password.

Here is a copy of my A10.fpap configuration file.  I have modified the IP to reflect your IP.
Code:
FlashAirAppMode=5
FlashAirHost=192.168.1.220
SleepDataApp=
Destination=D\:\\A10_Data
CPAPModel=100
UserName=A10

You have failed to mention as to the O/S you are using, so I can not provide a Plan B at this time.

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
Red,

I deleted P-SERIES. My SDcard is attached and expanded. From FlashPAP, I click "Scan FlashAir SD card", attached. Then click "Copy xPAP data for selected dates", I select 2024-02-21. Then I get the message (attached). Clicking OK does not work. I have to cmd-Q out.

I am running Sonoma 14.2.1 on a Macbook Air M1.

Thank you.

Peter

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
From a terminal window, what is the response from the command, "ping -c3 192.168.1.220"?
You should get something like either:
64 bytes from 192.168.1.220: icmp_seq=1 ttl=255 time=0.763 ms ⇽ Good! FlashAIr is live and on the network
- or -
From 192.168.1."your computer's IP" icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable ⇽ Bad! The FlashAir is either not at this address or not connected to the network.

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
The ping results in:

peterream@Peters-MacBook-Air ~ % ping -c3 192.168.1.220
PING 192.168.1.220 (192.168.1.220): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.1.220: icmp_seq=0 ttl=255 time=70.792 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.220: icmp_seq=1 ttl=255 time=10.494 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.220: icmp_seq=2 ttl=255 time=6.646 ms

I know can reach the FlashAir card. I can see it from browser at 192.168.1.220, FlashPAP finds it, and Sleepmaster finds it. Sleepmaster created me a folder at ~/Documents/Peter_AS10. Data looks good there. Oscar imported the data. If I point FlashPAP destination to this folder, it seems to all work, but I get the unrecoverable error message. I'll try it in the morning. I can live with FlashPAP with the error if the data indeed gets downloaded or Sleepmaster with no errors with both assuming AS10. I'll see tomorrow.

Thanks for your help. If you have any other ideas, I am open to try. Otherwise, I'll let you tomorrow.

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
Red,

It appears my FlashAir card in the A11 loses connection. Sometimes I can access the card from my browser (192.168.1.220) and other times not. If I ping it 100 times, I get:

Maybe inconsistent power to the SDcard?

RE: Flashair - Dreamstation -> Airsense 11 Autoset
It appears my FlashAir card is going to sleep. I can access in the morning. Later in the day, I can no longer access. I can regain access by ejecting the card and re-inserting. My DS II had the same problem, but only after many days of inactivity. Any ideas?
