Flying with CPAP
A risky intersection?
Every day, over 16 000 Australians travel overseas and there are 120000 domestic passenger movements

Estimated that up to 5% of middle age men & women in the general population have Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA)

Guidelines have been published to assist physicians and patients with lung disease and air travel

How has commercial airlines adopted these guidelines, in particular with CPAP usage?

Interesting indeed. Thanks for that. Just flew to London with mine, no problem carrying in board from the Swiss side - we are allowed an extra hand luggage anyway and they didn't ask or even notice. Don't know how it will be for the return journey - the Brits and the Italians, I discovered) have a stick up their ass with all this and may cause some difficulty - will let you all know.
