Graph Interpretation

Graph Interpretation
Hello,

Seeking help from experienced members in interpreting my attached graphs.  Last night's data shows a BND period of approx. 3 minutes.  My mask was never removed the whole night.   Also concerned with VB running high most nights (15%-20%).

Thank you so much for your help.Smile

RE: Graph Interpretation
BND (breathing not detected) is a common issue with Philips machines. It is usually associated with elevated leaks, but in your case appears to be a cluster of OA which may be positional apnea. We might zoom in on that cluster and see what the respiratory flow looks like during that brief period. If this was more common in your sleep we might suggest a soft cervical collar. For now, just be aware of it and avoid chin-tucking. Read the wikis:
Positional Apnea http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...onal_Apnea
Soft Cervical Collar http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...cal_Collar

You have quite a bit of flow limitation and some OA events that may require higher minimum pressure. I think you'd benefit from a minimum pressure of 9.0. Keep Flex at 1 or 2, and avoid a setting of 3.
