Hi Lkom,
WELCOME! to the forum.! I think they say 5 years. They may last longer than that, but I read that you should replace them every 5 years. Hang in there for more responses to your post and best of luck to you.

RE: s9 autoset
Medicare and most insurance companies will pay for a new machine every 5 years. I suspect the actual life of a machine is longer than that, but the changes in the technology would drive the need for newer/better machines.

Most insurance replace machine after 5 years and some require new sleep study Otherwise well looked after machine, can last may years more than the 5 years replacement period. It does help to change the filter regularly and making sure the machine don,t get knocked down and remove the water tank while moving or packing-up the machine so water don,t get into the machine and damage it

RE: s9 autoset
Insurance, especially government insurance is getting snippy about replacing machines after 5 years. Many of them will only replace if the old one is defective.
Watch Craigslist or other sources for a used machine. There are a lot of people asking crazy prices, but if you watch for a few months, you may very well find a good machine at a great price.

I live a boring life and have found myself starting at the oldest post on a board and read back to the current. One post stated that he had over 10,000 hours on his and it was still running like new....please don't ask me to go back and find that post for verification....lol
