Hard Crash on import - OS X Catalina beta

Hard Crash on import - OS X Catalina beta
Hi,

Not sure if this is the right spot to report bugs but here it is..:

With Oscar 1.01r1, I get a hard crash on the Mac OS X Catalina beta as soon as I click on the 'import CPAP data' button. 100% reproducible.

Attached backtrace..

For what it's worth, on that same machine SleepyHead-1.1.0-testing2-20180613-9da8b2a7-macOS imports fine..

Ew, that's down inside Qt and AppKit. It's possible it's a Qt bug or an OS bug. I'm not seeing any changes to the OSCAR code for detectCPAPCards since 9da8b2a7. OSCAR is currently being built with a newer version of Qt, so that could causing the different behavior.

Are you using Dark Mode?

Do you ever see the popup window after clicking "import CPAP data"?

I am not using dark mode (ew!), and the crash occurs before the popup window has a chance to come up..

It could be the graphics engine.  Try holding down the SHIFT key while starting OSCAR.  See if that may help.  You will only need to do this once. . . if it works.

EDIT:  Am I missing something?  That post was from June 25, 2019.

I saw the post and assumed it was recent. She is now a Beta tester with a DS2

This is indeed an old thread (2 years!). Apple fixed this by the time Catalina was released.
