[Health] UARS diagnosed twice, using a CPAP, and still waking in the middle of the night.

UARS diagnosed twice, using a CPAP, and still waking in the middle of the night.
I was diagnosed by two different sleep specialist with UARS, by two different polysomnography machines, so i am a UARS positive, This is my first week using CPAP and I adapted to it quickly, now i have DREAMS with CPAP, something that i missed, i'm sleeping better, but i'm still waking in the middle of the night out of nowhere, i go to bet at 10pm, sleep at 11 pm, wake up at 3AM, EVERY NIGHT i hate that, anyone else here in the same boat?

I went to the psychiatrist, she put me on a very gentle anti-depressant vortioxetine and i take clonazepam before sleeping and AFTER waking in the middle of the night or i can't get back to sleep and I also hate that. My goal is to stop taking clonazepam ASAP, but every night i try to avoid it, i have a bad sleep, with all and the CPAP.

I still don't know why is the reason i wake up in the middle of the night? Before i was diagnosed with UARS, i was always a person diagnosed with anxiety, and took clonazepam for sleep, but years before, i was able to sleep 7 hours without waking up, now i can't sleep continuously and i hate that.

Welcome to Apnea Board. It would really help us to see a Daily Details Chart in OSCAR to help advise you. This free software can show us your settings and how effectively it is treating UARS. The key to treating UARS is to manage the flow limits, so using EPR and an effective pressure range is important to managing your therapy. You will want to break the clonazepan quickly.

Thank you i will download the data onto OSCAR and post it here ASAP, the thing with clonazepam is that, i might be able to initially sleep without taking it, but when i wake up at the middle of the night, i need it to get back to sleep quickly or i will be awake until sunrise :/

I get the stress of awakening and not falling back to sleep. I'm retired so it's not a big deal. It seems to run in episodes and for me it went away when I quit thinking about it. I'm happy to have mostly slept through the night recently, but over the Winter it was an issue.

Do you have silent acid reflux / LPR?

What's your sleep routine? Have you already optimized it? Nothing to eat or drink for 3 hours before bed time, go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day, only use your bed for sleeping etc. Consider taking 400mg of magnesium threonate / biglycinate before bedtime, etc?

I take GLYCINATE MAGNESIUM Before BED which is the one recommended for sleeping, I make exercise in the morning (cardio/ABS) and at 2-3PM (GYM since i don't want to exercise close to night), I eat my dinner at 8-9PM, i wait until 11 to go to bed, I use blue light blocking lens once night start so blue light doesn't interfere with my circadian rhythm all the way before bed time. Thank you for the video link i will see it.

@sleeprider how can i post images? I already have more than 4 posts and still won't let me.

Let see if the forum allow me to post images, how i did tonight? I woke up two times, one around 11PM because my dog was barking and went to shut him up, and then i wake up around 3:40. I had two OA events, i'll post the full picture first, then the close ups of the OA events.
