Help! (What to do about my new Airstart!)

RE: Help! (What to do about my new Airstart!)
Compliance data and efficacy data aren't the same thing. ALL the machines give compliance data, but only some of the machines have efficacy data (what you are looking for when you use Sleepyhead).  This would be the wave data that shows the breath by breath treatment.

Thanks  Shy

I have asked the seller what I can do and they asked if I had used the machine at all and I replied that I had used it for two nights to check that the first night of missing data was not a glitch.

I am waiting for a reply but I expect them to tell me that I am on my own as I have used the machine  Annoyed-and-disappointed

But as you said I will have a spare machine now

I got a reply from Commercial Link Removed, instead search Supplier #1 where I bought the Airstart 10, this is what they said :

"I apologize for the confusion is information about the Airstart 10. That machine only records basic compliance data, which amounts to usage history. What you were looking for is advanced data tracking that records Ahi, leakage report, and several other items. The machine that would have best fit that at a good price point is the PR System One REMStar 60 Series Pro CPAP Machine with Bluetooth (item will be linked below). "

So, basically no help at all other than trying to persuade me to spend another $629 with them.

I have told them that I am disappointed with their response and I will wait for their reply before posting the story on their Facebook page

Denis

PS my Airsense 10 Autoset arrives tomorrow  Smile

Interesting that the alternative suggested to you is a discontinued fixed CPAP for nearly $200 more than what you got the Airsense 10 Autoset for. I'm sure you will like the new machine, and the Airstart should be able to use similar settings as a backup so you can be confident your results won't change when you use it. Supplier #1 is a good source for many items and I have used them for masks and some other things, but they tend to keep close to manufacturer minimum advertised pricing for machines.

Until this I had been very happy with them

I have been in touch with my original supplier and to be honest I am very impressed .

They are taking the machine back for a full in store credit which I can use for anything I like
