How to attach OSCAR images?
How best is it to attach OSCAR images?

I tried "win+shift+s" to snip a screenshot to post, but it is not displaying.
Do I need to save a screenshot as a PDF to then post?  When I try this it is asking for a url location.

First, take a Screenshot of your graph using the F12 key (on a Mac, Fn+F12).
Use the Standard View.

Chart organization: Include the following graphs... Events, Flow Rate, Pressure,
Flow Limitation and Leak Rate. Eliminate the calendar.

Be sure you use the Attachment Feature to insert your chart in your post.

Huh?

If you have OSCAR open and the F12 key (or fn+F12 for Mac) is not working correctly then it may have been re-mapped to something else.  You might need to check to settings for your particular keyboard.

An alternative is to use the OSCAR menubar and select View > Take Screenshot.

RE: How to attach OSCAR images?
OK... no disrespect, but I am super frustrated with how this website does not allow for direct posting of snipped images...
But in reading the posting procedures, it seems (as I have edited the "wonky" post) is that I need to snip the screen, open a graphics processing program (I use BlueBeam), post the snip, scale (crop), save to a folder and then upload.

Even when I do all that, the image is not a part of the post but rather it is an attachment that other need to open up.  Please confirm if this is protocol and I will do all those steps.

OK... I see that the F12 applies on the program... it still has illegible text though:

RE: How to attach OSCAR images?
The short version....

It's a two step process to get your images into your forum post.
Take your screenshot first using the F12 key.  There is no need to use any 3rd party graphics program!

Then:
  1. While you are composing a reply you have to click "Browse" under attachments (bottom of the window). Then "add attachment" will upload the file to the Apnea Board server.
  2. Once the file is uploaded then select "Insert into post" next to the image (screenshot)  and you should see a placeholder in the reply you are composing.
The placeholder should look like

Code:
[attachment=44149]

If you click "Preview Post" you will be able to see the image prior to posting it.  Then don't forget to "Post Reply" when your done.

Hope this helps...

RE: How to attach OSCAR images?
I think I have it now... it has been so long since I posted an image to this website. I am so used to the more modern websites that allow direct pasting into a topic.

Different forum software, different procedures.  Give it a go and see what happens...  You can always delete it and try again.
