How to set up Cpap advise
Thanks for all the help so far but I have my Philips machine from a hospital and need to revisit them to get their official printout for my lung specialist
Neither are aware yet that I have SleepyHead on my computer and I read my printout each day
Overview always tells me that I need to fix the leaks but now I understand that all machines have a normal leak rate and I wonder if there needs to be any settings made or are these done by the machine automatically
One thing is that the machine pressure was set at 10 but in SleepyHead the green line is around 8
Does the machine regulate itself but only up to 10 ?
The information the hospital prints for the specialist is a compliance summary and the therapy statistics ( Philips Responics) lists only average time in large leaks per day - average AHI - CPAP pressure
So far I have tried the masks F20 medium but that was to small - the F20 with large mask seemed to leak a lot even after reading the Primer several times
At present have the f10 with large face but still get leaks
But when started was AHI 24 and now it's around 1 every morning thanks to your help
RE: How to set up Cpap advise
It would make a big difference to see a complete detail chart from Sleepyhead. The first 2 links in my signature describe how to organize the charts and grab a screenshot and post from Imgur. Your leak chart in Sleepyhead has two lines. The upper one is total leak and the bottom one is excess leak. If the bottom line on the graph stays near the zero line on the chart, you have little or no leaks. If it goes above 30, your are in the large leak zone.
Congrats on getting your AHI way down. If you're feeling good and getting quality sleep, that is the goal. If there are other issues, we'd be glad to help.

Will try and make these changes but after snore only have Flow Rate - is that the same as Flow Limit
Maybe I better wait for my grand son ??

You should see charts for Events, Flow Rate, Pressure, Leaks, Snores. On the Philips machine, the flow limits are scored in events rather than charted. There are other charts, but those are what we're looking for. You should be able to get something like this except for the flow limit chart:
