How to turn Ramp OFF on Philips Dreamstation2

How to turn Ramp OFF on Philips Dreamstation2
Hi, I joined this site today after searching via Safari how to turn off the Ramp+ feature on my Philips's DreamStation2.  I tried unsuccessfully on the maker's site, then tried Safari & got thus site. This site (in 2021?) gave clear directions on how to turn it off.  At the advice of my pulmonologist, I had been using it off and falling asleep instantly.  About a month ago, it was back on (a software update perhaps?) and the previous off option was gone.  Just as the person who asked in the 2021 post, I had tried lowering the pressure and didn't think to try adjusting the pressure up, which is where the OFF choice is.  I have been experimenting with different pressure settings  for 15 minutes, the briefest choice, and was taking at least 20 minutes to fall asleep.  So thanks!

Hi Mariesie! - Welcome
By chance, did you take your SD card to the doctor for them to analyze your data and adjust your settings?

RE: How to turn Ramp OFF on Philips Dreamstation2
Hi, I did not.  But we did have a power surge in a recent thunderstorm. The machine came right back on.  In retrospect, I should've done the auto check the maker recommends.  I do this monthly, just unplug and replug and the machine self checks.  Today, when I checked to see if the ramp was truly off, I noticed that the humidity feature was there, but the heat setting for the tube was missing! So I did the unplug & replug and now that feature is back and everything looks as it should. And the ramp is still off.  So I guess I need to do the autocheck after every thunderstorm and power surge, as well as the recommended monthly.
PS My doc no longer needs me to bring the card; he just goes online and has access to all my settings and data.

RE: How to turn Ramp OFF on Philips Dreamstation2
A couple of times on my DreamStation 2 I have found the Ramp to be enabled when it is normally set to off. I think, but not 100% sure that I may have accidentally enabled the Ramp when my finger brushed the display screen tapping the Ramp+ icon after I pushed the start button. If you do find it turned on, tapping the display (+) symbol will increment the ramp up and it will return to OFF. It also appears the tube heat can be changed with a tap on the screen as well.

Thanks.  On mine, the Ramp+ icon isn't interactive, so accidentally brushing it cannot affect it.  Thanks for the reminder about where the OFF option is.  I'm going to double check that every night from now on.
The tube heat icon had disappeared from mine, so it wasn't there to tap.  Once I did the auto-check reboot, the heat icon was back and working.
I am just going to do the auto check reboot every day now--it only takes a minute or so--and after any power surges/outages.
I am very happy with this machine; super quiet.
