I was told by my DME to use distilled water only. 99 cents at the grocery store, lasts a month.

Daria,
It sounds like some vestiges of the mold release agent. I would demand a replacement. Usually my "demands" are initiated as requests that may elevate. I would not use the tank just on general principles. Best Regards, PaytonA
