RE: Humidifier wattage - Anyone know Pse?
WELL!! Just as I am waiting for delivey of the silicon heating pad, a small 12v thermostat and a thermal fuse, to upgrade my DIY Humidifier...
Wouldn't you know it - but my Sefam heated humidifier for my S.Box was delivered this very morning!
Looks like the Clinic had to order it from France, and it's been a couple of months. But, not only does it look like a very well-made device which is very easy to install (The heater section simply slides in - as does the container.) But it cost me nothing apart from the phone call to request it from the CPAP Clinic at Royal Papworth Hospital. They retail for about £150...
You hear a lot of negative comments about the rather over-stretched NHS (The UK had 600000 new immigrants last year alone) But the folk at Papworth seem very efficient and helpful - I have nothing but praise for the service Ive recieved so far!
Looking forward to trying it out tonight. It seems to greatly reduce the noise coing through the hose from the turbine
