RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
What are the next four numbers after the 23?
If it says 2202, then that would match the date shown.
22 = year of manufacture. 02 = week of manufacturer.
In other words, the Cpap was manufactured January 11, 2022.
It's fairly new. But that doesn't mean that it wasn't used or that the run hours weren't reset. There is no way to tell for sure.
Another thought: Have you tried registering the Cpap through MyAir?
If the Cpap (serial number) was previously registered to another name, MyAir would reject the registration. Although, I'm not sure if MyAir works in your country, but worth a try.
RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
No it says 2210 .. ! So is it possible to reset the run hours? I believe that the myAir app is not available in Italy I checked the store but there is only 'Airmini by resmed'
RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
Yes, resetting the hours is possible. The run hours are stored on a chip in the pneumatic block assembly (their name for the blower). To my knowledge, only a Resmed repair facility has the software capable to perform this operation. The other reason for an hour reset is when the blower is replaced with a new one.
RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
Not sure if this is applicable or not but when I read through the paperwork yesterday that came with my replacement Philips Dream Station (due to recall), it specifically stated that I was to package and return the original unit asap so that it can be refurbished (if it's in good enough overall condition) and sent to someone else who is waiting for a replacement unit. It specifically stated that if possible, they would remove the original foam and replace it with silicone foam so another person might be able to use it.
RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
Thanks, Sean, but this is about a possible refurbished Resmed AirSense 10.

>>>> it says 2210 ..
The tenth week of 2022 would be in March of this year... last month, in fact
If it is used, it's not much used
On my older AS10, there are two places to see the total run hours:
1) in My Options, scroll down to About and click... second item 'Run Hrs'
2) In the Clinical Menu, in Settings, scrool down to About and click... second Item 'Run Hrs'

Understood; just pointing out in general that companies seem to be refurbishing CPAP units and putting them back into circulation.

RE: I Suspect My AutoCPAP is Used
According to the serial # on mine it looks like it was made in Singapore between Monday, July 26, 2021 and
Sunday, August 1, 2021. I got it Jan 3, 2022. I don't think it was used..but I didn't check the hours when I got it. I guess I could do some math and figure out what the hours should be now. The REF is 37094.
Well...I did do some math just now. First time I used the machine was Jan 3rd, 2022. I've used it every day since...(89)days for an average of 8.12hrs per day. That should come out to 722.68 hrs. The machine shows 815 hrs. There's 92.32 hrs I don't know about.
I don't think it was used when I got it...maybe I did my math wrong.

If you used the humidifier, especially along with the ClimateLine hose, it will add run hours during the cool-down phase.

Yes sir. Yes to the humidifier and yes to the ClimateLine hose. That probably explains it. I wish I'd seen your reply before I just sent an email to where I got it asking them if they sold me something used.
