I will change the trigger sensitivity tonight as suggested. I changed my mask cushion last night. I usually change is once every month or two. Maybe I burn through them faster than an average person for some unknown reason. See the results last night. Still at 9:30 AM, things went bad again. Checking out video to see if I can identify anything.

I soak my mask in a very mild solution of dish soap and warm water for 5-10 min and air dry daily. I thought that was the recommendation from the manufacturers.
Yeah, well I just run a drizzle of Dawn into my hands and rub the cushion to get it clean and free of oils, rinse and dry. Try it, it might seal better. If it saves baby ducks, it can't hurt your schnoz.

RE: IVAPS vs Vauto BPAP - Tidal Volume Question
Sleeprider, I guess my results are a poster child for anyone questioning HOW important changing mask cushions often truly can be. Last nights data.... That said, I was far from 'negligent' in keeping up with maintenance, but it's obvious I need a newer seal to have any chance. I would assume I am more careful about daily cleaning of my mask and other items than 90% of people here. Maybe they just break down too fast? I seem to have a very distinct pattern of high leakage before I wake up too. I think the perfect chin strap and a fresh seal on my mask would get me close to where I need to be. One mask seal replacement per month may not be adequate.
It also is obvious 2L of supplemental O2 is not enough to bring me where I need to be. That's where my new pulmonologist wanted me to start and have an overnight pulse-ox re-ran using The 2L amount. Then they will re-evaluate. With a near perfect seal, that is a decent amount. Nothing will fix my O2 levels during apnea events as I'm already borderline struggling all the time I believe.
We have had the oxygen bleed discussion before, and you can feel welcome to give the wiki link to your doctor. I don't presume to tell a pulmonologist how to do his job, but I suspect he underestimates just how much dilution occurs with the pressures you use and the leaks you experience resulting in much lower FiO2 than a conventional oxygen bleed without CPAP.
I have similar leak problems if I don't keep mask cushions clean or allow headgear to get out of shape. Maybe us older guys are harder to fit due the character our faces seem to acquire as we age.

RE: IVAPS vs Vauto BPAP - Tidal Volume Question
Yes I remember the issue with O2 dilution through BPAP. I plan on discussing with my doc. Results from last night. Almost perfect leak rates except for one episode. That said, it still has not solved my oxygen desaturations. 29 min under 90% with AHI of 1 and avg leak rate of 4L/min for the night. Longest apnea event was 11 seconds.

RE: IVAPS vs Vauto BPAP - Tidal Volume Question
I really don't see how this is possible. Desaturation to 70% last night WITH 2L supplemental O2. Did CheckmeMax sensor go haywire or something crazy occurring? Apnea lengths during this desaturation (4 of them) were 13s, 17s, 12s, and 14s, These were not continuous. The four events occurred over 15 min or so.

Tonight, I do a second overnight pulse-ox using my pulmonary doc's oximeter while being on 2L of supp oxygen. This should be interesting to see what it shows. I'll be keeping a close eye.
