Improve my CPAP Performance
I have used my Resmed Airsense 10 for over 3 years with moderate results. Since I've moved I've ceased visiting my CPAP provider. Lately I've used the clinician's menu to make modest but erratic improvements to my sleep. However I'd like to further improve my sleep to obtain an AHI under 5 (rarely achieved). Could you help me adjust my machine to obtain consistent and improved results? Would attaching my CPAP statistics page be adequate?

RE: Improve my CPAP Performance
We can best help you if you download Oscar (It's free) and post one or more charts showing your sleep. With that information folks here can give you good advice.
Machine: ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask: Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution

If you have OSCAR charts, we prefer to see the Daily Results with the Daily sidebar. That lets us see the important charts as well as events, respiratory statistics and settings. A tutorial on organizing charts and attaching images and files to your post are linked in my signature links.

I've attached screenshots of my last three days of data. Each night is split since I typically wake once.

RE: Improve my CPAP Performance
Well you have a problem that affects many other members on this forum. Those clusters of apnea, hypopnea, RERA and flow limitation are "positional", and can be fixed fairly easily. As you can see, you have reached the maximum pressure of your CPAP, so raising pressure is not an option. We can fix the positional apnea and get your pressures down much lower. First, we need to be on the same page, so read these two articles in our wiki:
Positional apnea https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...onal_Apnea Soft Cervical Collar https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...cal_Collar Your apnea is mainly the result of poor alignment between your head and neck which obstructs your airway. You will need to consider your sleeping position, pillows, and otehr factors. If you sleep on an incline or with multiple pillows, you need to stop that. It may help to stay off your back and use and aid that prevents back-sleeping. Many people here completely resolve this problem using a soft cervical collar as discussed in that second wiki. For settings, I'm going to suggest you increase the minimum pressure to 10.0 and use an EPR setting of 3. This will give you pressure changes between inhale and exhale that will better support inspiration while maintaining your current minimum exhale pressure of 8.0.
