Still tired, is there other issues?

Still tired, is there other issues?
All:
So I have been on the ASV machine for a while now, And if you have followed my threads, you know my background. Basically, I am learning more from this site then If I just listened to the 'sleep doctors'. So the last doctor I went to Just told me. "your AHI is below 6 on average, your good, Some people are just sleepy all the time. " They tried me on drugs, which gave me headaches with no improvement, so I stopped that. I will be seeing a new doctor ( different hospital ) tomorrow.

As I was reading on another thread on this site, Perhaps I need to self diagnose myself ( with help from this site).  I see that the Sleepyhead program provides other information also. Perhaps I should be sharing/examining that information also (Such as Overview) to see if there are/ what could be, other issues causing me to still be tired during the day. (I find myself falling asleep/closing my eyes in meeting - which is not good!).

How do I know if I am getting a good night sleep, and that is the problem?

Thanks Coffee

RE: Still tired, is there other issues?
There are other causes for excessive fatigue than sleep disorders, for example, anemia, diabetes, thyroid disease, heart disease, and COPD. Sadly, I haven't read your other threads, so I don't know if you've been checked for anything other than a sleep disorder, but if you haven't, it might be worth discussing with your new doctor. (I know that even with my history of hypothyroidism, my doctor went directly to "sleep disorder" without passing go or collecting $200, when I mentioned fatigue as a symptom, so....)

I think you should give Sleepyhead a go, it is what they are used to on this site and to be honest is maybe the best software out there anyway.
Get it and post some data so others can see what is going on with you.
I am NOT a doctor.  I try to help, but do not take what I say as medical advice.

Sometimes, fine tuning the settings can improve your experience (but don't look to me: I'm a newb). Post your SleepyHead data so you can get help with that.

However, since you're going to see your doc (PCP?), I would check in about other possibilities. Could be you have something as basic as a vitamin deficiency. (But don't look to me: I'm not a doc).
