Just getting started, looking for an OSCAR data review
Hi yall,
I was diagnosed with moderate to severe OSA earlier this year, and have just gotten out of my 21-in-30 compliance period. I've been pulling data only for the last three nights, but hopefully someone wouldn't mind having a look.
I'm still a novice when it comes to formatting the data for review so please correct me if you think I'm not exposing the right data, but this is the set for the last three nights, using suggestions from r/CPAP on what to display and how.
Looking for any comments or advice at all. I understand that the treatment has already been very effective at getting my AHI down to something quite low, but in general I am waking up periodically during the night due to leakage (not reflected in this data) or pain/discomfort due to fit issues or tugging from the mask. In contrast, even during periods of high AHI (30+) in small bursts during my sleep study, I never woke myself up and I always felt fine in the morning. Not generally tired at all.
So let me know what you think, please.

If you are using 3 EPR you should have a minimum pressure of 7cm. If you can get by without the ramp turned on, turn it off, it provides very little apnea treatment while it is turned on. You have a cluster of apneas on 4/9, which is most likely Positional Apnea caused by chin tucking. Stay off your back, sleep on your side, use a flatter pillow and if that doesn't help try a soft cervical collar. All and all you are doing fairly well. Raising your pressure may help with your arousals.

completely agree with his suggestions. A little info... You have your min set at 5 and EPR 3. that would make your exhale pressure 2 (5-3). BUT all cpap machines have a min pressure, the lowest and can go is 4 so as he told you, set the min 7. 7-3=4 the lowest the machine can go.

You don't actually have positional apnea. The only cluster I see is two CAs, and CAs do not count as positional apnea, so you don't need to worry at all.
