Locking OSCAR profiles
Is there a way to 'lock' or 'archive' an OSCAR profile to prevent accidental writes, rewrites or deletions?
I've just added an additional profile for a new machine (as it's a different make) and have on a couple of occasions accidentally written card data back to the earlier profile.
I can easily clean this up by deleting the imported records, but I then need to re-load the card from the earlier machine to reset the original profile's details - It would be much easier to somehow 'lock' the profile to stop accidental tampering e.g. maybe by flagging specific files or directories at OS level as 'read only' to prevent this occurring.
Have I overlooked something, or missed a trick here? ...if not, it might be a useful facility to have within OSCAR - where profiles could be 'archived' but still accessible as 'browse only'
