For the CA events, that is mostly a matter of not being adapted to the pressure support yet. Set trigger sensitivity to high to counteract that. You effectively had zero flow limitations and your pressure was nearly constant. Notice how your inspiration time with the Vauto is much shorter. This shows how pressure support makes inspiration easier.

Ok changed trigger to high. Good to hear that’s all it is. Breathing was so easy, could feel no restrictions at all It was like awake breathing, maybe better. So happy with all the improvements you pointed out. My old machine just couldn’t handle my pressure and flow limits but the Vauto took care of all of it right away. I see how much I needed the extra pressure support. Love the Vauto! Wish I got it sooner. Thanks for recommending it and for your help !

Here's last nights chart-night 2 with Vauto. My centrals are down but still at 2, plus had a couple of other events including some obstructive and hyoponapea. Should I wear the soft collar? Sleeping as comfortable as possible, on my back with the 3 high pillows without the collar. But I do see the almost completely steady pressure at 10 and very minimal flow limits! Yay! Machine is amazing! Notice that my expirations are almost twice as high as inspirations? Why is that? Used to be my respirations were the longer ones.
Please take a look when you get a chance.
Thanks

No need for any other changes at this time. Be patient and just get used to how things are working. All events are minor, widely distributed through the night, and will eventually disappear. Notice how the centrals are mainly at the beginning or end of sessions. This is a tip that they are either arousal related or sleep transition.

I finally got my new replacement Vauto, this time with zero run hours! Although the first one with 11 hours was probably just fine. Anyway am so excited to get it back! I remember how my flow limits were almost nonexistent and my pressure smooth and steady. Can’t wait to fire it up but a bit early for bed lol only 7:22 pm. I copied all the settings from last time and have just one question- you had said to set trigger to high bc I was having a lot of CA but now not sure if you wanted me to also change cycle from medium to high-they seem to go together.
Thank you!!!
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Leave the cycle unchanged at Medium

Something went terribly wrong with my Vauto last night. When I turned it on, it blasted air so strong that it hurt my chest and blew through my mask. I then tried every mask I have and the same thing happened. Out of desperation, I turned min pressure to 4 but it didn't make much of a difference. Finally tried a mask that seemed to not leak at first and finally fell asleep only to be awakened by my oximetry ring going off like crazy,. Looking at the report, my SPo2 had crashed over and over down to 82 during the approx 45 min I had the machine on. At that point I gave up, turned it off and just used my oxygen. I also uploaded my results from auto a few days ago using autoset.
Is there a malfunction with the machine or mask or what do you think happened.? Feel so discouraged.
Thank you

Something is not right. What happens when you go back to the Autoset with the same tube and mask?
RE: Lorrubdb Therapy Thread: Fine-tuning therapy with Oscar
Don’t know, will try it now

It works perfectly fine-had it on for a few minutes, comfortable airflow and zero events. So Vauto defective ?
