Thanks for attaching. Those are definitely serious numbers. I'm glad you're on treatment now. I don't see distinctions between types of apneas like obstructive events, central, or mixed. I assume many obstructive, but anything is possible. I think the next titration will be very telling regarding final pressure numbers and recommended therapy. I would report the low O2 stats to your sleep medicine doctor, but if they are anything like ones I've seen, they won't take it too seriously and depend on whatever testing they do as the end all be all. Just my personal experience. I'm in a similar boat and just trying to be persistent until satisfied with the answers/treatment path. Thank goodness you're at a better place now than pre-treatment. I imagine you must've been incredibly tired with that level of AHI.

I felt a lot better after I started CPAP but lately I've been having the daytime fatigue again and waking up multiple times a night. I suspect that a BIPAP machine will be my future. I just want to get one now and not have to wait awhile for a sleep study and results to come back but I doubt it will be that easy. Hopefully the data from OSCAR and Sleep HQ will help.

Yes I am sure a BPAP will be key because at some point handing these high pressure (especially EPAP) will become hard. Your Minute Ventilation rate is also quite low. Your doctors need to determine why such little volume / rate is occurring. Sleeprider is very educated on all this stuff and I'm sure he'll have some better detailed input on those things. I just know Vt should be around 500 mL and Minute Ventilation 6-9 L/min. Your median levels for both are quite a bit lower, which is unusual if not diagnosed with lung issues. I believe OHS in a classic form would cause this type of scenario and that's where non-invasive ventilation machines like BPAP ST-A in IVAPS mode can help or at least utilizing a BPAP with more pressure support than the capped 3 units your CPAP offers. Unless you've been through that additional testing, it's hard to have an idea. There are many reasons things can occur.

I don't think anyone can be tagged here. They just need to come by when they have time as obviously there's a lot of activity/questions put out. Admin/moderators only have so much time I'm guessing. You don't see too many 0.00 AHI stats. I still am perplexed by the crazy low Vt and MV stats. I'm also surprised you can do the high pressures with nearly any leaks at all. I hope someone else has more insight. I don't see how proper ventilation can occur at Vt that low. You also seem to breathe in slower than you exhale which is atypical.
