Problems with Easy Compliance Software
First, thanks for the forum.
I have an iCH Apex Auto CPAP System that has been set by the supplier for my prescription of 15 mm H20. It seems to have been working perfectly for my first week of usage.
OSCAR says it is not compatible with Apex machines, so I downloaded the latest version of Easy Compliance with drivers. Whenever I download the SD Card, all I am able to see is information (graphs) in the "Detail" tab info. All the other tabs, "Total Time", "Compliance", "Long Term", etc. do not populate any details (i.e. are blank).
Am I doing something wrong. Would I get more info by connecting the USB directly from the machine? Should I download the older version of Easy Compliance. (I assumed the iCH Auto was the newest Apex machine).
RE: Problems with Easy Compliance Software
I don't know about your software problem, but were you offered any alternative choice to this relatively cheap Chinese CPAP? I think it is criminal when a DME provides a machine that maximizes their profit margin, but does much less for the patient. If it was your choice, I won't argue with the budget decision, but something like a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset would have done a lot better at both therapy and feedback.
RE: Problems with Easy Compliance Software
I am having the same problem. I chose to purchase the APEX XT Auto because it was cheap and I had to pay out of pocket for it (sleep study doctor refuses to diagnose me so insurance won't cover). I am now needing a compliance report for my job. I downloaded the Easy Compliance Lite software from APEX and followed the steps to copy usage data off my device using and SD card, but... the data doesn't show up in the Easy Compliance software. When I load data from the SD card, it gets some basic info about the device, but that's it. No usage data. Not a single minute of usage listed.
I have been using this device nightly for the last two months, and I don't know what's wrong. I did check the file manually and was able to discern that the only "section" of the file filled out was the Details/Profile so I know it's not a problem with the Easy Compliance software, but rather that the CPAP/APAP isn't actually copying usage data onto the SD card. It is copying SOME data, just not the important data.
Please help, I need the compliance reports in the next day or two or I might lose this job offer.
RE: Problems with Easy Compliance Software
I know nothing about your Cpap or software. But no machine retains the information- the SD card must be in the machine while you use it, it will not keep the data to be downloaded later.
RE: Problems with Easy Compliance Software
That's quite the blanket statement to make after openly saying you know nothing about my device or software. The APEX XT Auto is actually made to record usage data on its own. Its user manual states that to retrieve said data, you may power on the device, and insert the SD card while the device is in Standby mode. It then changes on the screen to show that it is copying its data to the SD card, then says END so you know it's done and it is safe to remove the SD card.
The problem does seem to be that it does not have its usage data stored, but that is because it SHOULD have its usage data stored locally. That is the design.
RE: Problems with Easy Compliance Software
The Apex CPAPs are a rare commodity around here, so our operational knowledge is very limited. All other CPAP brands require the SD card to be in the CPAP while it is in use in order to collect detailed data. Based on this premise, Stacey was trying to offer some general help. You could always test his idea for one night to see if it may help. What's the worst thing that can happen?
I hope you are successful in obtaining the needed data.

I have the same issue. I tried all the USB-to-serial drivers I can find but to no avail.
If you found a solution to this, appreciate please if you can share how you were able to fix it.
Thanks,
