Machine & Sleepyhead not agreeing?
So for some reason according to sleepyhead I have been having some major mask leaks over the last couple of weeks. Last night I had a leak that counted for over 26 minutes and another one for over 11 minutes and several others for a minute or two. However, when I check my machine it gives me the little smiley face for leaks. I would think with that amount of leaking that I wouldn't get a smiley face. So is my machine and sleepyhead disagreeing or does it take more leak time for the machine to register a bad night?
Also I switched to this mask (same model as my last mask just a new one) about a week ago (I was getting leaks with my old mask so I thought switching to the new mask was the answer) and it seems no matter what I do I can't get a good seal on my mask. I tighten it and it leaks, I loosen it and it leaks. How can you tell if I'm getting mouth leaks vice a bad seal?
Thanks

Funnily enough I have a new mask, which is same as the old one and it feels different. I think I have had to tighten mine up more than the old one. I think there is a bedding in period of a couple of weeks. Why yours is being so difficult, thats a tough one.
I hope you find a way to resolve the leaks - is the airhose in the same place? Moving my hose (Oooer) changes things.

SleepHead consider large leak time spent above 24 L/m
The machine display smiley face whenever 70th percentile leak is less than 24 L/m

My 90% leak rate was 31.20 and % of time above leak threshold was 22.77%. That's way above numbers for the last week which were 20.40 and 8.20 respectively.
Last night was by far my worst night for leaks.
RE: Machine & Sleepyhead not agreeing?
Why anyone would use a nasal mask instead of pillows is beyond my grasp. Double check for leaks in the unit at the humidifier seals and along the hose. It's possible something is not sealing somewhere besides the mask.

'Cause somebody at a sleep study jammed a P10 against my upper lip without adjusting for my big (7 & 3/4 hat) head. Put me right off nasal pillows...
I like my Wisp, though.
