Any ideas why these OEM hoses are so different?!

ResMed CPAP Hoses
The ResMed CPAP hose that came with my AirMini is super soft -- the best CPAP hose I have used, although it has a proprietary connector. The ResMed CPAP hose that came with my AirSense 11 has a generic connector, but is as stiff and uncomfortable as any hose I have ever used. Rather frustrating.
Any ideas why these OEM hoses are so different?!

BobinHI;
My AS 11 came with a heated Climate Line hose .. I thought it was plenty flexible .. I have not used a regular or Airmini hose .. The Climate Line also helps prevent rainout .. If You're using an unheated hose maybe the Climate Line would work better .. Good Luck

RE: ResMed CPAP Hoses
My Climateline hose is almost 5 years old and still works fine. I wash it a few times a year in warm water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap, rinse it in warm water, “helicopter” spin it outside to get most of the water out, then hang it to dry until I go to bed.

RE: ResMed CPAP Hoses
I just recently replaced my machine's hose with a new one. I got my machine back in Sept. of 2018.

RE: ResMed CPAP Hoses
I just got my new machine, Airsense 11, and the heated hose that came with it is really stiff, all the other heated hoses I have gotten with my previous machine are super flexible. Pretty disappointing.

RE: ResMed CPAP Hoses
It loses elasticity the more you use it. After 6 months it becomes like 6” longer and is much softer.
