Cleaning the Airsense machine itself (not the mask, tube, chamber)?

Cleaning the Airsense machine itself (not the mask, tube, chamber)?
Hi everyone,

I've been searching online for information on how to properly clean my Airsense CPAP machine, but I haven't found much guidance. I'm not referring to cleaning the mask, tube, or other accessories, but the actual machine itself.

Should I be using a slightly damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the machine?  However, I'm concerned about cleaning the electronic screen with a wet cloth, as I don't want to cause any electrical issues or damage to the device.

If someone can help me and let me know  the proper way to clean the CPAP machine, I would greatly appreciate your advice and tips. I want to ensure that I'm maintaining my machine correctly without causing any unintentional harm.

Thanks in advance for your help, and I look forward to hearing from the community!

Once a week, I use a soft (lint free) dry dusting cloth and dust lightly over the outside of the machine. I never use anything wet on the machine itself.

If you do that and change your filter once or twice a month, your Cpap will be fine.

Now, with that said, if your Cpap is exposed to smoke or pet hair, you would have to be more vigilant with dusting, especially if you have allergies.
