Migrate OSCAR from Windows to MAC
I have an ARM windows 11 VMware instance on my MAC. Currently running OSCAR 1.6.0
I want to migrate this OSCAR instance to run natively on the MAC M1 Silcon MAC OS 15.2.
I installed OSCAR 1.6.0 on the MAC just to make sure it would run. It did. I have not populated it with ANY data.
My plan is to figure out where OSCAR Data is kept in Windows land and copy it to a thumb drive and then import it to whereever OSCAR data is kept in MAC land.
Not sure if it will be that simple. Hence the post. Any advice?
I am not sure if there are any pitfalls to this plan.

RE: Migrate OSCAR from Windows to MAC
On the Mac, the OSCAR_Data directory is installed in the Documents folder by default.

RE: Migrate OSCAR from Windows to MAC
On the windows, you start Oscar and go to Help --> About OSCAR. On the right part, you have a link : Show data folder.
On clic on it, and goes 1 folder up et get the folder (F in the next) & the data.
You copy it on the Mac & put it on the " Documents folder".
When you'll start OSCAR, it will ask you where are the data. You choose the folder F.
Don't choose the data folder shown by the link.
