[CPAP] Looking for some Insight...

Hi Everyone,

Looking for some insight to possible changes to my CPAP settings and/or equipment.

I know I have a lot of Large leaks, and I have tried using a chin strap, and a full-face mask (nasal/mouth), but to no avail, the problem still comes up.

Leaks are the biggest problem, and even where a large leak is not detected it appears that you may be exhaling through your mouth. As far as settings, the 8.0 minimum looks pretty good, but a maximum pressure of 13 is going to cover your needs. I'd like to see you take a look at the mask primer wiki on this site and see what you can do. A soft cervical collar often works to apply light pressure on the back of the jaw and is likely more effective than a chin strap. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ask_Primer
