RE: My Introduction
Jera, I hope you will download the free software #SleepyHead, and monitor your therapy efficacy. With a central apnea problem, you could have issues you will want to be aware of and report back to your doctor. You are apparently using a fixed CPAP at a pressure of 11 cm, and I doubt that is going to work for you; indeed if you see problems, the solution will be to reduce pressure. In any event, get the software, take a look at what is going on. You can help support your doctor's efforts by better understanding and monitoring this data.
As far as the mask goes, ask your supplier for a medium pillow for the Airfit P10. It is normal to be much more comfortable with a larger size nasal cushion with that mask. I think you might be pleasantly surprised.
RE: My Introduction
If you sleep on your back, you may find that sleeping on your side reduces the apnea somewhat. A bolster type pillow (ex Therapedic reading wedge, a pregnancy pillow, etc) can help prop your back to prevent rolling onto it.

RE: My Introduction
@Sleeprider - I downloaded SleepyHead, however it seems to require a card reader, even though my machine has a wifi modem connected to my router. (Not a cellular one.) I don't have a SD Card reader and cannot afford one right now. I would like to use it though. I will purchase a reader when I receive my money on the 3rd unless there is a way to use the wifi modem in it with it.
@Beej - I will see how much they cost and buy one if I can budget it in this month. Thank you!
@All the people I didn't respond to - There are a lot of you and I am just trying to get used to the forum right now, I don't want to spam this thread with multiple replies, so when I figure out how to use quote multiple posts to reply to everyone, I will do so! Thank you everyone, I appreciate all the support and ideas and everything! I don't want you all to feel as if I am ignoring you! I'm not!

RE: My Introduction
SD card readers cost less than $10. You won't be able to access the data wirelessly for less. In the meantime, your machine does produce valuable information on-screen, that can be used to evaluate your therapy. Specifically your average and 90% pressure, AHI and number of centrals and hypopnea. Also, you can obtain a free clinician manual for your machine by following the instructions in the CPAP Setup Manual link at the top of this page. This manual is more detailed than the owner's manual, and can tell you how to access settings, and what they mean.
Good luck, and I'm sure you will benefit from the information from Sleepyhead once you can access it.

RE: My Introduction
The Therapedic wedge I bought was about $52 US. You might check first to see if side sleeping improves your apnea first.

I bought an SD Card reader, a 72 in 1 one. Don't know why I need so many in one, but it was the cheapest one they had. I do have a question - Is my data completely private with SleepyHead?

I actually have developed a cold now, so I'm not going to be trusting any AHI readings right now from the machine as being accurate for normal time. I'm still trying to use it though, even though my nose is dripping worse than an IV.
I think I have figured out how to quote and reply, so I will be previewing now!
Yay! The quote thing works!

RE: My Introduction
Sleepyhead has no means to transmit your data, and on the forum, we usually ask for screenshots of the charts to be posted if you want help interpreting the results. My signature has links that describe how to organize and post charts, as well as a link to an extensive article on how to interpret results yourself. So yes, it is as private and secure as your computer.
RE: My Introduction
Mask fit can be a frustration. Hang in there!
