I need to get Oscar but when I go to register online, it tells me I have to call a number to get a registration number. I have 3 questions:

How much is it? It looks like the cheapest plan for me is a minimum of about 1000 bucks USD… Is that correct?
Will it work on a Apple desktop?
Is there anyway to get up and running without calling? I have a speech impediment that makes it hard to converse…

OSCAR is free software. There's no place to call, no registration number, and no cost. Click on OSCAR to open the download page.

Yes, we have a version for the Mac. The download page will show you the versions available.

I would be interested in knowing what site you found it available at some cost!
