Need Help Finding Right Settings
So I started using a CPAP machine
(ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto) about 3 weeks ago. I had an at home sleep study done, which basically put me just below what is diagnosable for mild sleep apnea. Around 4 AHI each night. Long story short, I was planning on getting a MAD, but since I was not diagnosable by the study, I had to figure something else out.
For the life of me, I cannot get my AHI any lower than around 1.7 - 2.5. Any advice on where my settings should probably be at? I am still wildly exhausted each and every day. Lowest I've been able to get is 1.5. Do I need to have my AHI close to 0 to be able to get any benefits?

Oh gotcha, thanks for responding.
Is the PS setting ok? And should I consider switching to CPAP mode or stick with auto? I've heard CPAP mode gets better results sometimes.

Welcome to Apnea Board,
You'll need to use New Attachment to get your OSCAR image viewable.

RE: Seriously Need Help with CPAP Settings
I would consider increasing Min pressure to 5 or 6, just to have more airflow to begin with.
You do not need zero AHI, however you need to rest well with reasonable comfort regarding sleeping and using the VAuto.

RE: Need Help Finding Right Settings
No you don't need 0 to get a good nights sleep. You need to work on settings that allow you to fell better rested. Remember that this condition has been going on for a long time even before it was diagnosed. It will take a while to feel better...
