New BiPAP user with UARS(?)
Hi there, I would appreciate some help interpreting my data
Firstly, OSCAR isn't showing Flow Limitations, is it because my machine doesn't measure it?
I thought I'd be able to find them but my flow rate doesn't really look bad to me? Although my sleep still sucked and I was woken up with a pounding heart.
I used EPAP of 5.4 to IPAP of 8.4. I'm not exactly sure how I should be titrating or what pressures I should be using. I just felt this was most comfortable when I was awake.

My initial sleep study showed an RDI of ~19 and AHI of ~3
Here's my data, I think most of the initial CAs is me being awake, and I did take off the mask for about an hour of poor sleep before putting it back on

The AirCurve 10 S model doesn't report Flow Limitations.  You can look at your flow rate graph where flatter tops indicate flow limitations.

If you would like to try eliminating some of the CA's, set the Trigger setting to high.

Thank you. I will try that trigger setting tonight
Here are better pictures of the flow rate, it doesnt really look as vertical as the normal one showed in your picture?

Sorry, I did not have dynamic scaling on, my graph looks normal and readable now
What in god's name is this pattern?

That's a very ugly looking CA event there-I wonder if you're crinking your neck/tucking on this one?   For reference here is one of mine (CA event):

That's weird...
It's the same pattern here too, and a better(?) similar one as well
What could be causing this?
I included other data with the similar worse pattern but I can't see anything

Well I was researching and found that this isn't CSR but perhaps something that could be caused by... chin tucking?
I'll have to try only 1 pillow flat on my side tonight and try a neck brace before bed if that could even do anything..

So update, after only doing a flat side position and having the trigger on high,  I woke up early and couldn't go back to  sleep but the sleep I did get was pretty much perfect
I'm going to get a soft cervical collar and chin strap to experiment and see if I can go further

Most of the zoomed images above were a spontaneous arousal. They look chaotic, but that is typical and we all have them. It's common for these to also be associated with movement like a shift in position, and they often feature a CA event.

Well another update, I wore a soft cervical collar. Awful night though, woke up early as usual but with my mask off and the straps off too
I'm guessing the position of my machine and tubing is making it hard to move without getting it involved/tangled
