New Machine! Woohoo!
I just picked up my new Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset! New mask and headgear, too -- Philips Respironics DreamWear Full Face! I am so looking forward to trying out the setup tonight.
I started out in 2010 with Resemed S9 and Resmed Liberty Mirage Hybrid. And that setup worked really well form me. I used the resmed software and loved it.
Several years ago, I started traveling A LOT (200K+ air miles per year), so I switched to the HDM Z1 with the same Liberty Mirage Hybrid mask. That setup never worked great, but it was ok and the size was so convenient for being on the road constantly. But I missed the humidifier and the software wasn't very good for analysis.
So the travel is way down, so now the new machine! Have I said how excited I am?!
Just downloaded the sleepyhead software, looking forward to the analysis.
Also, I should say that I just love my doc. A couple of weeks ago, I went for my annual check and told him I wanted a new machine. He just asked which one I wanted and he was good. He knows that I do my research, that I'm informed (thanks Apnea Board), and he trusts me as an active participant in my therapy. I do way more data analysis than he does and he is always amazed with the details I share with him.
Anyway, just had to let you all know!!
