Newbie
I got a cpap three weeks ago and would like to view and do analysis of my progress but they tell me I have to be a Dr. or Respiratory Specialists to see the raw data
My machine put some result online at my Air for me to view but they are too high level to help me

RE: Newbie
Welcome to Apnea Board Orangebear,
Here on Apnea Board, we are all about patient empowerment, meaning yes you can see your own data.
First, order the Provider (Clinicians Manual) for your machine. See link top of page (CPAP Setup Manuals.)
Then download the free Sleepyhead Software, see top of page also.
Once you download your data from your SD card to Sleepyhead, we will be able to help and advise you.
My Air is ok for basic data and to Encourage you, but you need to be able to keep track of your progress and make changes if need be to get the best possible results.
RE: Newbie
I agree with OpalRose.
In your profile you put ResScan as a software you are using. There are very good things about ResScan's charting and statistics, but SleepyHead is much more user friendly & will show you more useful data in the details. The user guide for SleepyHead is great, and there are a vast number of threads on this site and others that will educate you on making sense of what you find.
Blessings,
Bill Fry.
RE: Newbie
I put ReScan as the software I was using on my profile but I really was only using the info on the ReScan My Air website and it wasn't helping me. I followed Rose's advice and got the manual downloaded, went into the clinical setting and turned on more reporting capability in the machine. I cant believe they had this function shut off when they fitted me for the machine and they want me to make an appointment, go to the respiratory specialist office and pay for a counseling session to see the data.

RE: Newbie
I have been using this machine for 40 days now my compliance is 33 out of 40. shortest time is 4.5 hours longest is 7. However I was awake for more than 2 hours on 7 hours use day.
I am using sleepy head to look at the data but feel terrible on the days I use the machine in the morning and much better on the days I don't.
How long before I feel some benefit to this therapy
RE: Newbie
sounds exciting to see your own data. This is day 1 for me.
