New User: Need help dialing in settings
First off thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond to this and help me out.
Been on APAP for a couple weeks now following a WatchPAT diagnosis through Lofta. Clocked in at an AHI of 13.9 with an RDI of 21.8 per hour. I was mainly interested in finding a reason for the heavy brain fog and daytime sleepiness I was experiencing as a fit 20-something.
Anyways I have been using a Resmed Airsense 11 in APAP mode with pressure set to 9-15 and EPR of 1 for the past few weeks. I have tried tweaking settings here in there before I got serious and decided to get scientific and collect actual data. I've been experiencing symptoms feeling grogginess, lack of energy, and heavy brain fog despite utilizing the APAP for 3 weeks now. I didn't expect immediate improvement but I feel that I've been sleeping worse than ever . I've lost 70 lbs in the last year and quit utilizing nicotine pouches after 5 years of use in an effort to feel better/healthier and more rested, so I'm willing to try anything and do whatever it takes. I feel like I'm in a haze all the time and just want to get this sorted.
I switched to Resmed F20 fullface as I could not tolerate Resmed N20 due to a tendency to open my mouth in my sleep which was causing massive leaks. I would pull it off in my sleep without realizing. Compliance with full-face is much better so I would like to stick with that as it helps keep my leaks down and I have a tendency to exhale through my mouth.
Daily charts for the past 3 days provided below, any help dialing in my settings is much appreciated. I see that I'm experiencing a lot of CAs, unfortunately my WatchPat Diagnosis did not show the split between OAs and CAs. I do participate in powerlifting/bodybuilding so I have a decent amount of muscle on me, I'm unsure of any interactions that may have with CO2 concentrations in bloodstream or anything like that. Will be getting bloodwork done in the near future to rule out possible anemia but I doubt that's an issue frankly. I can provide zoomed in charts if needed.
