New auto cpap
Hi all, I found this forum looking for instructions to change settings on my new dream station.

I can't tell how happy I am finding this forum.
I had old cpap machine for 3 years. Air pressure at 8. Never feeling good for the 3 years. Had an operation 1.5 year ago, removing polyps and correcting the nose wall. Still no change. So finally the gave me this new philips dreamstation station auto cpap with humidifier. Pressure auto from 5-20. My first night now and a see pressure have been at 12.5. Wow, I have now hopes to get a better life. I have ever read a bit, I will read a lot more. Wow. I can't say how happy I am right now.

JUST wanted to share, I will look for software to get more data. Also will try to get the best settings for my new machine.

Happy new guy ?☺

G'day Daniel - welcome to Apnea Board.

The use of software to monitor your progress is pretty much essential. We recommend #SleepyHead, which was written by an apnea patient for apnea patients. It will give you heaps of information.

It's really good that you've found a successful machine and setting. Please stick around and share your experiences.

Get Sleepyhead software (free)  it is beyond excellent and most of the posters here use it.  Sii my signature for how to.  Pay attention to the section on organization, it gets the real important stuff on top.
