RE: Help with initial settings for cpap machine
She only used it for an hour last night, and said that it seemed like too much pressure. She said it felt like it was blowing her mouth open. She finally pulled it off so she could sleep. Should we try again with these settings, or tweak them a bit more.

RE: Help with initial settings for cpap machine
Let's take her word for it and keep Autoset mode, minimum pressure 7.0, maximum pressure 7.0 EPR 3. This will give CPAP pressure at the minimum pressure possible to use EPR 3. After this we drop to pressure 6 and EPR 2. As we used to say in Limbo, "how low can you go"?

RE: Help with initial settings for cpap machine
After a long break my wife started using the machine again over the past few days, and it has made a difference for the better. The one issue at this point is that she feels like her stomach is inflated in the morning like a balloon.
I feel like I'm starting over with learning how this thing works. Once again I appreciate any help that gets this working better for her. I have data from the last 4 nights if this helps. It looks like I can only upload 3, but that hopefully will be enough info. It is happening every night. |
