New to this -- What am I doing wrong?? DreamStation/Sleepyhead

Hi all... Brand new cpap user of less than a week with a DreamStation Auto. I have tried using Sleepyhead, but every single time I open it up again, it acts like I have never opened it or saved my profile or anything. What on earth am I doing wrong??

I have a FlashAir III card in the machine, but really have no clue how to get data from it into Sleepyhead -- which is a moot point anyway since I can't get Sleepyhead to work.

I am educated and a computer nerd -- But dang this is making me feel s-t-u-p-i-d... Lol

Does anyone have any guidance at all for me? I appreciate it!!

Welcome to the group.

Presumably you have downloaded Sleepyhead to a computer.
Then you have created a profile I'm guessing.

When you click on the Sleepyhead icon to open the program it should give you a login box.
Click on 'Select User' and it will open another box where you type in your profile password.


Once you have the main page open, ensure you have the SD card from your Dreamstation inserted in the computer, then click on the SD card icon on the screen.
It will prompt you through the first time set up, then after that it will automatically download when you insert the SD card and click the icon.

Thank you so much for the reply and the screenshots. I had actually never seen that login screen! It just started from scratch every time, even after I had imported data. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the software, created a new folder to put the data into, and now I am finally getting a login screen.

Now I just need to figure out how to make the FlashAir card work with it so I don't have to keep moving the sd card back and forth!

I'm relatively new to all this as well.

The comment and screenshots were done in a rush during my short lunch break at work, so I wasn't sure if I'd given enough information to get you pointed in the right direction.

Personally I find it easier to pop the SD card out of the machine and in to a card reader that I then plug in to my laptop, the whole process can be done in about 90 seconds if I take the laptop to the bedroom to do it.

The Dreamstation also has a remote access modem, the clinic I have it on loan from downloads the data without the need for me to take either the card or the machine to them, they then compile a report which gets emailed to my respiratory specialist.

I showed them the Sleepyhead program that I've been using to download it myself, they said it seemed even more comprehensive than the program they use.
